Ellie Gravitte

Ellie Gravitte (she/her) is an award-winning filmmaker based in New York City. She was the winner of the first ever ABC Women’s Initiative, and works as a director of narrative and commercial projects across genres. The child of two actors, Ellie cherishes the opportunity to work with talent of all experience levels, and places the story of relationship ahead of all other subject matter. Her work often focuses on the connecting power of music, and she consistently takes great leaps between style and pace, always coming home to her own voice. She is passionate about centering queer stories in her work, and holds strongly to the belief that artists will be the ones who save the world.
